The Punxsutawney Weather Center houses a museum dedicated to the history and culture of the area. It's located on Mahoning Street in Pennsylvania with over 90 antique dealers from Betty Boop to Lady Liberty Phil!

There is a 15-kilometer Mahoning Shadow trail in Cook Forest Park. This is a light and fun event that takes place throughout the year at the expense of local residents - from selling souvenirs to visiting a museum or an exhibition of paintings depicting animals from the Gobbler's Antique Mall collection (including dolls). Blackbird Distillery was the first accredited distillery in Pennsylvania. They take pride in making each step by hand and know the secret recipe for wine or beer! The 16th Blues and Brown Fest runs from May to September at Barclay Square (Pencilia). This is usually a day trip for locals - they come here every Sunday afternoon with their drinks from City Hall's Globe supermarkets until the end of the year; as well as buying souvenirs from the owners of Gobblers Publications Centrals
Groundhog Day is celebrated annually in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is dedicated to a semi-mythical rodent named Punxsutawney Phil and his shadow Panxy. It is reported by The Verge with reference to a study by scientists from Orange University (USA). According to the Andy Warhol Museum in Cook Forest (Punky is one of the most popular places to visit), it also helps people find things to do: sled dogs or dog with dogs!
